Lost in Translation

This morning, while I was leading worship, and playing piano, I had to end with a prayer, in SHQIP !!! So, here is what they got:

"...[Dear God], You are bread when I am thirsty, You are water when I'm hungry..."

It's the heart that counts right?!

I think this is completely awesome. It's like a missionary from Hungary that spoke at our church about two years ago. He kept talking about "wedgies," and how they were raising money for the ministry by selling the "wedgies." Finally he said they were wonderful "wedgetables." Nate and I had to stiffle our laughter so others wouldn't turn and look when we realized the whole talk was about vegetables. =^)
Classic.

You know when I read it the first time, I thought...what's wrong with that prayer...it's simple and to the point. But upon reading it again today, I realize what I missed.....hehehe...and I'm laughing at myself because of it.
